I've already had a sparks look at it whilst on site. From an electrical point of view it all looks ok (but no).
I've since spoken to a hire firm that I know that has a shed load of belle mixers & he has major issues with switches & motors since around 2005/6.
Basically it looks like Belle have changed their suppliers/manufacturers for these parts.
NOT happy, but there simply isn't a close competitor.

welcome to the forum,
sorry but these would be different issues to the elec mixers, honda are the best engine for this type of equipment, so I'm sure that if you resolve your problem you will get good use from your belle. _________________ Building Materials Sourcing

Bloody rubbish, another one packed up (this one is probably switch, still got another one that I'm not sure what is wrong and am reluctant to spend money trying out differing solutions).
I cannot believe that a successful company would want to go from being THE only choice to being run of the mill.
On a similar note I have noticed that we are going through power tools much quicker than we used to, might start a different thread on this. _________________ Building Materials Sourcing
