Telmay - you may want to take note with your impending flight .......

Last time I went away on Hols was to Cuba back in Jan '07 and we were hanging around waiting to be called to board the plane.

There was an EXTREMELY large woman in the hall - in terms of wide-bodied jets, she would make a jumbo look anorexic.

Said to Mrs H "I wonder what poor sod will end up sitting next to her?"

You can guess what happened :cb

10 hours of being crushed :angryfire: and what's that phrase? "Fat girls don't sweat much"! :puke:

Never again!

Hoovie, they are supposed to charge for two seats on really fat people. you would have been within your rights to complain that you didn't get the seating area you paid for.

To make it worse, she pulled up the centre armrest for extra room and spilled over half my seat :angryfire:

Rich - I am British , which means when anyone asks "is everything ok" we say "Lovely, thanks"

On this flight, actually, it would have been pointless as the flight attendants were totally useless.

Never gonna fly Thomas Cook Airlines again.
End of the flight, there was not one person who had a good word for them - absolutely appalling

I remember going to Florence once with Alitalia- probably the worst airline in the world.

As we were checking in there was a huge Indian guy, he must of been 30 stone plus, but he was about 5 rows away from us and so we thought he was on a different flight- he wasn't

He was sat near the front of the plane, but when he walked down the aisle to go to the loo he banged into everyone :angryfire:

I would not be happy if I was sat next to someone that big.

tell you what added insult to injury ..... we actually checked in early to get a good seat - if we hadn't bothered, wouldn't have been stuck next to 10 ton bessie AND .... wife had a window seat - except the stupid THOMAS COOK AIRLINE check-in staff didn;t bother to tell us that THAT window seat didn't have a f***** window

Like being in a bloody prison cell for 10 hours
