I saw that on TV the other night and the food looked great but way too much for one person! However some did take it home to feed their families or communities!

MvF is such a good show, makes me bloody hungry though.

You know what I like about that though, how not only do you have a small farm on a tray, theres a bag of crisps on top :lol:z

Brisket looks overdone and dry but the rest looks bloody delicious.

I've always wanted to go to a BBQ joint in america, preferably an open pit. Everything just looks so good, and I feel my eating habits wouldn't earn me the title of mr Creosote

they got a place in tenerife in the mountains that has a bbq that is 12ft square, the guy cooking uses a massive chain and pulley system to move food from front to back and does the best garlic whole chickens on there :-)

When I joined my current employer, I had to go to the US and see some of the partner sites - one of them was in North Carolina. We went to a BBQ pit place there. Had ribs the size of a house, corn, fries, chicken, etc....was awesome.

For some reason, the meat just taste better over there.....

I think thats one thing america really does well, BBQ, I try emulate it here but it's never the same. Tried using fancy woods and all sorts.

Anything can beat the cheap burgers and sausages poorly cooked I've seen so many people do in this country anyway
