|
|

Got a bit of a problem with my baxi genesis 80 - no HW or CH at all. When a HW demand is placed (opening a tap) the boiler only fires up for about 3 seconds then goes out.
Nothing at all happens on a CH demand.
I've checked the continuity of the flame sensor probe to the PCB - ok
The overtemp thermostat gives 0 ohms across it.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance |

Are you an RGI.
Check the CH filter.
And flame rectification (sensor) _________________ Scruff |

Not RGI but just want to get this working even tempoararily as am getting quotes for a new boiler anyway.
CH filter ok
What is the best way of checking the flame sensor?
Heating it and checking for a change in resistance?
