| the hot water is working fine. it appears to have a constant demand for hot water so boiler wont switch over to heating. is this an electrical problem. micro switch? if so how do i prove it out. or could it be valve? |

Do you have the installation instructions for your boiler?
Turn off the main power then check the following...
You can easily unclip the micro switch from the hot water flow switch.
Turn the tap on & off, you should be able to see the spindle move out when HW is on, and back in when tap turned off.
You can test to see if the microswitch is stuck on, by, after uncliping from flow switch... disconnect the two wires on the spade terminals, and use a continuity tester to test the microswitch is open circuit. and when the button is pressed manually the circuit is made.
