Hi folks,

one of the main heat exchager seals is weeping it has dripped down and fried the main pcb.

I bought the seals but the pcb is toast we have an emergency care plan so think i'll call it in as I dont have time.

Boiler came with the house no idea how old it is but its well been serviced.

We have 10 rads and when you run hot water with or without heating it will only come out 1 tap.

I'd like to see another year out it but not sure what route to go down next!?

Can't see any reason it cannot be fixed, especially if you have a maintenance contract.

If one hot tap is working, it may be that the boiler is ok but other taps pipework is at fault.

This would need further investigation.

The 80 and 105 are well over 10 years old if not 15, common faults inc the relays on the pcb dyeing, the diverter valve pins sticking and bad diaphragm(s) the main exchangers leak over time if you disturb them your asking for trouble

if your in the south they scaling up something crazy
