First port of call was to replace the soil stack,
the previous stack consisted of a cast vertical with a iron trough / bucket ontop, down into a clay trap under the concrete path.
we'd dug out and replaced the clay trap with a plastic bend, a plastic to clay connector and a vertical,
Pictures are of the stack completed, with a 104 degree elbow (92 would have meant 2 elbows and 112 would end up too high)
(yes i'm a messy worker!, sorry!)

Because the toilet we bought was flush wall fitting,
and i didn't fancy the prospect of moving all the supply pipe work
(main cold runs under the sink then under the bath and the hot adjacent)
we studded the wall out about an inch and a half and covered with laminated board.
Elbow arrangement feeds the toilet.
