So far I have laid out the 30m of heater wire, checked the resistance is 128R, same as before I took it off the spool, but now I have to check the insulation.

Think you should think about the sanitary layout mooncat, especially the wastes.

The wastes are all above the floor level, as the drainage outside was put in very shallow (the builder back in the 60s didn't dig the trenches deeply enough in the rock) so everything drains by gravity. The bath has to be raised to get a better fall, the shower tray is raised for the same reason. I did once have a pump to empty a shower but it caused so many problems that I vowed, "Never again!"
