Evening all,

My bathroom is coming along nicely and it time to pick my new lights.

I quite like the look of these, but wondered if anyone has used them before and will they be bright enough?

http://www.screwfix.com/p/robus-fixed-r ... 240v/22455

The bathroom is 2.7m x 2.7m with 2.7m high ceilings, and was planning on having 4 of them.

My sparky said i pick em, he fit em! but want to make sure i get them right!

Cheers for the help in advance

I have four pods in my bathroom and you need sun glasses. Think if re-doing I would use a 2D florescent.

So do you think having four of those even with the frosted front glass would still be too bright ?

Iv looked at 2d lighting but keep thinking that wouldnt be bright enough!!

If you're remodeling or designing a bathroom in your home, the space won't be complete without the proper lighting. And, when installing bathroom lighting it is always best to seek advice from a qualified electrician.

Bathrooms are in the main finished with white walls and ceiling and often very reflective tiles are used so light will bounce around the room. But a spot light is as the name implies a spot of light and I can't really see why one would want a concentrated spot of light in a bathroom?

I got mine for free and in a moment of madness fitted them. Since to remove will leave 4 holes they have remained. But the 2D unit would do a far better job of general lighting.

To have a mirror and table lit like the traditional theatrical make up table may call for spot lights but it's not really something anyone can advise on without going to the room and looking.
