Looking for help, I have moved house and the bathroom light takes about 1 -2 seconds to come and then flickers about once or twice and then comes on fully with no problems after that. I have replaced the pull cord switch and this is still happening. Is this something I should be concerned about or is it just an old light or possibly lightbulb?

Thank you

Failing lamp (compact fluorescent) or its choke.

Sad thing is, is often cheaper to get a complete new fitting. But until it stops working, no, its fine. (But annoying)

Working on anything electrical? have you got a multi meter? why not? Would you hit a nail with a shoe?

This is the exact same question you asked on December 10th and you were given the same answer then. Why clog the forum with repeat questions?
