I have been working on these cabinets in between my other jobs and got them finished ready for the handles and fitting. I am hoping to get them fitted later this week.

I still think it would have been better with one unit, but the customer is always right of course.

Probably thinking they could pull one out to get to the plumbing and leave the other in situ to support the basin. :dunno:

But I agree, would have looked better a one unit.

I got the cabinets fitted today. It took a little time to scribe the units around the basin but taking my time I ended up with a perfect fit I am glad to say. Customer was very happy with it and that's what counts. (Think I will have some more work from them too)

They look very neat in situ, better than I imagined, seeing them in your workshop. :thumbleft:

Hmm, if i am 100% honest i think that looks rubbish.

Cabinets look good, but in situ, nah.
If you've gone to the extent of having bespoke units made, you may as well just pull the sink out and fit a proper vanity unit.

Glad it's not just me Hitch

Brilliant piece of joinery wasted in my opinion.

At the very least they could have taken the pedestal out.

Yes I do agree with you guys, would have been better with a full vanity unit. Still that's what the customer wants! And of course as we all know the customer is always right. ::b

I bet it was fun scribing it around the basin. :thumbright:
