hi i have a bath tap that is a shower as well

this one:

http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Taps+Sh ... 691/p31467

when i go to pull the slector up to use the shower part of the tap and when i have how water only it pops back to the tap setting (i think its cos theres not enough pressure on the hot water) if i remove this tap and fit a tap that has a slector bar like this one:

thanks for teh advice

Yes, those types of diverter are a pain. You can bodge it by making a blocker ring to stop it closing out of a bit of plastic to slip under the spindle to hold it up. I did that on a similar unit that worked for some months until I got around to swapping the taps. The new unit has a diverter tap which will be far better.
