Noooo...run away!! Seriously, Roth are crap. In Germany, Rothenberger are the equivalent of B&Q. Buy yourself some Irwin GrooveLock ones, they're much better, really strong locking mechanism that doesn't slip, easy to adjust and very grippy jaws. They open a lot wider as well - a 10" Irwin will open wider than a 12" Roth.
