Right up my ave this, 23 years and counting!

Started off as 8 disc's out! :help: very ouch, osteo several times, ok for a while, then it would go again! :angryfire:

After several years of this, different suports, all to no avail, went a Chiropractor, they diagnosed the Sacroiliac joint was worn and sticking on one side! :wtf: the problem is the muscules are the problem!

Once the joint or joints are out of alingenment, the muscles create a 'corset', ie, they tighten to try and prevent further damage, only in so doing they create more pain. :cb

The only solution, is to get the muscles out of spasum, or relax them, then manipulate the afected joint or joints, then a course of treatment, and probably loose some weight, esp round the middle area, ( this dont help ) then as sugested, strengthening exersise to 'reinforce' the abdominal region, and before doing ANY lifting or bending, STRECH first!

I know this is the last thing you want to see, but it is the ONLY way to deal with it, supports are a help, but you will come to rely on them, and the back becomes weaker over time, and even more prone to this.
