Hi everyone,
just got back from another caravanning holiday, from down near Poole.
Came back early, you can see the reason in the photo!
Not like that all the time, really enjoyed the area but weather got worse as time went by, so decided to cut our losses.
Camp site was rubbish, place called Beacon Hill touring park, lots of overcrowding issues
Glad to be back and catch up on the forum chatter

WB Doug, that's why we stopped camping about 10+ years ago. i have no interest in taking a main holiday in this country.

Nice to see you back doug, but would love to see the back of this awful weather.

Photo looks just like Auchtermuchty last weekend - but a bit dryer!

Went down for the music festival, but after you've been playing, singing (and imbibing the odd pint) from midday to midnight you don't really care!

The ironic bit was the Sunday afternoon open-air ceilidh where the organisers were so worried about the weather that they put up a marquee in the square - the sun immediately came out and blazed away until the ceildh finished then back to rain!
