Evening
Got a few rooms to do they want the ceilings plastered what do you recommend to seal them with they have never been painted

Rightly or wrongly I've given it two thin coats of Pva and another a bit thicker

I hope you mean PVA before skim coat and not after ?

If so correct, follow the dilution recommendation on the tub of pva, slap the second coat on whilst mixing up the plaster.. wait for the pva to go tacky... then crack on.

Yea Pva befor skim had it skimmed yesterday all went well

Just done a ceiling, 3:1 water to PVA. 1 coat night before then next coat just before mixing plaster, wait till tacky then slap it on.
