Can someone please identify the attached textured finish?

It looks a bit like stippled artex, but it is really thin. Perhaps it has been applied with a roller?

Tha house is about 15 yeasrs old and this is in every room.

I need to patch it up as there has been a leak in the bathroom above.

Thanks

chez

I'm no expert but i'd say your right about the roller chez, or maybe a sponge. Wink

I think that it may just be artex stipple, but it does not look like the stipple that I normally do. I think I'll make a really thin batch and have a go at re-creating the pattern Wink

I have fixed the plasterboard, but could not find my stippling pad and so I have not done it yet!

I have done it in the past and simply painted the artex on with a large brush and then just bounced the stippling pad off the surface.
