Hi folks,

Had a quick search around but can't find anything that specifically answers the question.

I am looking to put electric in the shed which is over a tarred drive/road from the house.

I believe easiest option is to cut the road and lay armoured cable but what depth should I be looking at? I would be proposing to sand/concrete it and the road is obviously not going to be cut up anytime soon. So it is not exactly going to be disturbed. There will be daily movement over the road/cable however.

There is a duct under the road but currently has kerosene supply going through it so I have ruled that out.

Thanks.
