Hi I bought my mum a Antique Pine Effect Double Skin Door from argos, the insturctions are ***** I am confused on the last bit, it tells you to screw the side of the door but it dont tell you in the middle of the rubber or the actually wood. It didnt even tell you that you need a saw and drill etc.... Argos instructions are crap....

I dont want to drill holes into the wood on the doora side frame than i find out it should of been though the rubber....

Both ways would work fine BUT I like to do a proper job so anyone who has done this please post

Checkout the pic below. Thanks

Imageshack links removed, pics attached to post . Mod 2

Looks like there should be some pilot holes ready drilled for you to screw into..

Difficult to see how this goes from the picture. I would think that the wood face would be used rather than the hinged rubber sections. From what I can see, one slat is fixed to the frame but this would all depend on where the track is. Sorry I just cannot be precise from the info given.

you do realise the dotted lines point the screws to the extreme left hand side off the door and not to a panel join :dunno: :dunno:
those doors are plastic arn't they they :dunno:
if so will sound like the door is open all the time

None of the pieces has pilot holes even though the instructions shows pillot holes.

I had to make my own holes.

I once had a circuit tester with instructions informing the user that the device was "...so easy to use even a child or a woman can use it"

Classic.
