I have placed weep holes on the lintel above the opening and spaced them one every block. Are the weep holes required if I render the wall?

Weep vents are for timber frame construction where a block or brick wall is used as the outside skin with a 50mm cavity.

...........also used where there's cavity trays and lintels.

If the brick wall needed them, it will still need them when it's been rendered.
