hi all, another render question i'm affraid! I'm about to embark on a large render job in my house. :shock:

Once the scratch coat has been applied, how long after should i wait before i put the top coat on??

Inernally some people apply the top coat the same day, so as quick as that.

Ideally next day, but it can be done.

Chances are if its a large job, start at one end. When scratch coat is applied, then go back to the start and start on the top coat.

You will be surprised how long it takes compared to skimming.
