Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations for project management software for the Mac?

Something similar to MS Project, and perhaps low cost or free?

Thanks!

This one might be of help

http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omniplan/

(free trial and $149.95 US for a licence, might be cheaper on certain swedish sites .. US price still not bad compared to MS Project)

I was considering writing that in the stylings of weebl and bob, but that would make my head hurt and be totally unintelligble

Bit of an emotive subject but take a look at -

http://www.aecsoftware.com/

Not cheap. Mind if you want cheap tack then MS Project fits that bill quite nicely

Fasttrack is the one we used to use at work (aecsoftware).
Im a graphic designer and used it to track projects, I didnt like it.
Im the Studio Manager now and Ive scrapped Fasttrack and set up an excel spreadsheet instead. Works well for me - PM me and Ill email you the excel file if you want.

Thanks for all your input, I haven't actually had time to plan things out - been too busy doing things to the house! heh.

I've come to the conclusion there aren't any good, cheap apps out there for the Mac that fit the bill - shame really!
