It's not the heat that bothers me - it's the sweating that's associated with it. As I got older I started sweating more from the head than anywhere and when really hot it becomes ridiculous such that any hat I wear (as a sweat band) is overloaded and sweat drips off the peak! Only my head too - no other part of me sweats (visibly). Hate it.

Are you folically challenged? The more hair I lose, the more of a problem head sweating is becoming.

I find the same, sweat from the head sooo much it gets in my eyes when working..

I've got a solar cell but otherwise a 'full' head of hair too. Not sure if hair make any difference to sweating though.... :dunno:

Dunk your hat in a bucket of water , works a treat to keep cool.
