According to Mr Fix it repair man, it`s probably due to the IE problems around christmas time :sad:

Well guess what, Mr Fix it repair man has taken Norton off as that`s where the virus was living....and put AVG on instead....

I think some of the freebies do not have email scanners (AVG does), but if running slow is an issue, at least get a sandbox (www.sandboxie.com) to browse in. When you browse through a sandbox, you are browsing in a virtual computer, so that any viruses, etc. that are downloaded to you are erased when you log off the sandbox program (and the virtual computer disappears).
