It only has a 1.5AH battery.......not worth buying for trade work, ok for DIY though and AEG used to be good battery drills.

yes i fully agree to be up to trade use you need a minimum 2 batts and they need to total around 4'8 ah

so if you had a 1.5 and a 2.4 then it would be acceptable but not ideal
2x2.4 are ideal as would be 3x1.5ah batts

That is why they are cheap.............screwfix use the same con with Makita, give you an unmissable price but supply the cack batteries with it. Fine though for DIY or a second/ third drill.

Went to B&Q today after work and picked a couple up, which I ordered last night. I also got two 12v Lithium AEG drills which were pointed out by a member via PM. The guy at B&Q was really helpful and got them ready for me in a matter of minutes :thumbright:

Lookslike AEG have done a bit of rebranding, they used to be dark blue, top notch gear. It seems that all the top of the range stuff the group manufacture are branded as Milwaukee.

Ryobi also used to have an industrial arm, i guess thats what happens one one company own a few similar brands.
