I had some angle beads delivered today and they are much wider than the normal expamet skim thin coat ones. I have never seen them before, but they are about 35mm wide instead of 20mm.

I think they will make life easier in two situations:-

Double boarded walls make normal anglebeads hard to screw in. These new ones would be a piece of cake.

With difficult walls and beams, the new ones would allow you to drill and plug if necessary because the holes would be further from the edge.

Anyone else looking for an easy way out like me?

i dont have an 'alert mods' button... prolly dont trust me not to abuse it constantly and have em dancing like a string puppet..

seriously though... i just stick em on..
havent mechanically fixed a thincoat bead in god knows how long...

gripfill, multi, bonding, even carpet spray adhesive...

different externally... I usually drill, red plug and bang in a 40mm galvo or 3...

It is. Do NOT press it in any of your own posts or they will shift your post 'poste haste' (that means quick, fast, pronto!)
