I've Dot'n'dab'd some walls and now I need to stick some angle bead's on the external corners and around the window recess prior to plastering. What is the norm to attach these beads to the plasterboard ? I was going to use the drywall screws I'd used on the partition wall but these are quite long and will eventually hit the brick work but I doubt they will penetrate it. I've used 12.5mm boards and the shortest screw I've seen is 25mm.
Quick answer appreciated as I need to go to Sfx

Now I've written the problem down I think the answer is obvious . Due to the size of the beading the screws will end up going in the gap behind the boad on the 90degree angle so the length of the screw doesn't matter - I think

You can screw the screw into the other piece of plasterboard, so that it misses the brick behind

Thanks for confirming for me.
It was one of those things that as soon as I'd posted it I suddenly thought about the size of the bead and where it would screw into Panick over
