Been doing some tidying up work on the house and one job was to repaint the patio doors. They are black with mouldings picked out in white. I rubbed the door down primed where necessary with bullseye sanded down and reapplied where needed. The black was to be water based zinseer allcoat satin. Not wanting to buy a full tin of white allcoat just for a few mouldings I thought I'd use some weathershield which I already had. It too was water based and satin and I used that first. Went on fine and to ke things easy I painted the whole of the glazing bars. When it came to the allcoat I applied that but with the first coat on top of the weathershield there was what looked like a slight crazing , similar to what one gets when paint gets on top of silicon although not as bad as that. Second coat went on fine .
The paint seems to be ok but I did wonder if anyone else has come across this and if it may be a problem?
