This looks like a good buy, I'll probably call in check it out on Thursday.

I bet the only problem is that energy saving lamps can take a while to warm up, but it's gotta be worth it for the cost saving over the 300W halogen I've got now (and wont burn as much! )

It says it has two sockets. Does that mean it's also an extention lead du reckon?

Dunno what "42,000 luminent total" means. I could believe the total light flux is 4,200 lumens.

I didn't get one when I was in the other day, I got totally carried away on other stuff like door handles at £7.10 a pair! so I bought 7 pairs and saved myself a fkin bomb, theses are usually about £25 and they're just as good a quality as those I've bought before.

I'll get the wife to look for a work lamp tomorrow whiles she's nipping in Aldi for my crowbar :?
