I have had a bench grinder on 'the list' for a while. Anyone ever used powercraft stuff? I know it's not going to be brilliant, but is it going to be good for the money?

A few of my 'DIY tools are either from Aldi or Lidl and have never had a problem with them. Ofcourse I am retired and only do my own DIY jobs, not comercial work like some of you.

Get one and if it packs up inside a year take it back and get your money back. Just keep the receipt handy.

I have an 18v drill by powercraft. Came with two 1.7 batteries for £20. That was 7 years ago and is still going. I have used it for decking 6 metres square and for 2 kitchens.

I have also bought router bits and drill bit sets. Never had any problems.

I looked at the Bench grinder for my woodworking and I had a problem in finding replacement sanding belts.

The one in Aldi comes with a 240 grade. However I have only been able to find an 80 grade for the size of the belt. So you need to take that into consideration.
