What size motor on the mixer?
It says constant output of 650 Watts.
Just looked on the web and there seems to be quite a few that have 370 Watt motors so it would do quite confortably.

I suppose the next question, then, is how do you know what wattage something draws if you no longer have the manual?

Most machines have a data plate/sticker...
Probably a fairly small motor on a mixer, under 1hp, all the power would come from the gearbox.

Is it a belle?
Yours iss 110v isnt it, that little genny wouldnt power the transformer...
yes and yes, so it doesn't matter what I run from the tranny, the tranny itself is too big for it? Shame.

Watts are constant its the current that changes with voltage. The genny would be ok with a tranny so if your mixer is under say 500w it should be ok.

The only possible problem would be starting the mixer with a full drum.

What about the starting current for the transformer, the genny would trip out surely....? Whats the breaker likely to be on that 5a?
My box sometimes trips a 30a breaker on initial switch on.

The transformer inrush will be limited due the lack of current available from the impedance of the generator windings or inverter. It is possible the genny is a inverter type btw allowing the engine to run slower under light/no load situations.
I used to have a van with a 500w inverter in it and that used to have 2.2kva tranny plugged into it for light stuff like jigsaws and 2D lead lights.
That genny could not blow a 5A fuse in a month of sundays.

A 500w electric drill nearly stalls the engine on a genny like that on start up but is OK once running.
I bought a job lot of factory returns of that make but a slightly different model. Most had failed due to a design fault that caused a regulating component to blow even when the genny was not overloaded. It was an easy fix if you knew which component to change and where to get the replacement from. I didn't so I sold them on as still faulty at a profit.
If you want my opinion go for one of the 1500w four stroke ones. Twice the cost but a reasonable bit of kit. Those 850w ones are rubbish.
