Hi
Bleed the rads again and a very small amount of air in two of them

Just one more thing i now have a humming from the pipe work could this be a sign the pump is on the way out?
The noise changes if you slow the pump down or speed it up?

Hi
If i run the pump of the lower speed i dont get much heat in the house and less air in the rad
Turn the pump up and better heat but more air in the rads

Could this be a micro leak pulling air in ?
The change to combined vent and feed has not made much of a change to the air in the rad with the pump set on 2

Any idea's?
Would a leak sealer help?

Dave

Only guessing but I should have thought the vent pipe in the picture and diagram could cause a syphon action, in my system the vent is "h" shape with the top of the vertical open and the leg of the n into the header water; also I'm pretty sure its venting on the hot side; perhaps this is just another method and I am sure The Scruff can pass comment, please.
