I am first-fixing & providing concrete flooring to a ground-floor level barn conversion, underfloor drainage to a sewage lift pump outside, there is no soil pipe in the building yet.

Do I have to provide a vertical 110mm stack from the soil system vertically up through the bathroom ceiling (difficult) or can I use an AAV to achieve an internal soil vent? And if so, does the AAV have to terminate above the basin & sink wastes (plug holes) or can it be located on the wc pan connector (types readily available) even if this is below the traps?

Could a small (32/40) AAV be located under the basin (higher than kitchen sink waste but also higher than pan connector) on 32mm or 40mm waste connecting into 110 soil pipe from wc? These suggestions avoid having to run a 110 stack up the bathroom/adjoining kitchen wall.

A 'Durgo' type valve is normally for additional SVPs & certainly in your case I'd advise fitting a vent through the roof. Any system needs a SVP within 6M of a WC.

Very few Durgos work well long term & can jam easily. They stink the place out when they don't work!!
