Ok so in less than a month I shall be 65, but why do I keep getting loads of junk mail from age concern and the likes, offering products like "Guaranteed Funeral Plan" ::b

Are they trying to tell me something ? It get very depressing

Don't worry, when they knock at the door and say, I'm from age concern, you can say like me "No thanks I'm OK at the moment but it's nice of you to call"   :thumbright:

The worry is when there's a knock on the door and they say they're collecting for an old folks home and your kids say 'here he is take him'

Only 65 in a month, bloody hell John you've had a hard life, looked a lot older last time we met

I got a bullocking from my brother, I thought he was 60 this year so wifey and daughter sent him a card with 60 on it, still saves buying one for next year. I told him didn't think he'd be here next year so got it in early!

Got earache from both ends.

John

If they knocked on the door collecting for the old folks home, my kids are more likely to ask how much they'll pay to take me away
