I have a largish acrylic bath to fit at home and I have been advised to batten the two walls and build a frame for the front to support the bath. It has the usual screw on metal frame with adjustable legs. Is this the right way to fit it or is there another method?

There is wood fixed to the underside for the legs to screw to. Would it be best for the wall batten to support this or the lip of the bath itself? I will be able to fix the bath in place before I do the plumbing as the tap will be at the front so easy to get at.

Best if it's on the wood.
