Hi,

I have purchased a chandelier with a ceiling rose attached to it. See Picture (New Ceiling Rose) However there are not enough Neutral or Live connections on the new ceiling rose.

Can anyone give me precise instructions on hw to fit this safely? I presume i'm going to need a juncton box, but how and what wires will be connected to what :dunno:

Also the new ceiling rose as a connection 'SW'.. I presume this would be the live (red, as seen from the second furthest connection on the right?)

Look forward to your advise...

SW will be the switched live..unfortunately unclear from your pic, but one or possibly 2 of the reds in your ceiling rose (Pic 1)

Okay, so i can test which wires are the switch live by doing a simple ohm test?

But can you be more specific on which wires need to be connected to a junction box, in order for there to be the right amount of cables to connect to the new ceiling rose?

Would it help if i took a better picture?

From the 1st pic.
The earths are obvious (green/yellow sleeved wires)
The neutrals are in the left block (black & blue wires)
The permanent lives are in the middle block (red wires)
The switched lives are in the right block (red & brown wires)

I've figured it out:)

I drew a diagram and it's pretty self explanatory now.

Thanks for your reply. It's always well appreciated
