Hi,

Gutted my downstairs toilet and just noticed the old lead stopcock has an odd thread. It's a male thread around 23mm O/D so thinking it's a 5/8" BSP. Anyone know of an adaptor to come off it with 15mm pipe ??

The stopcock seems part of the lead pipe so can't really just replace it without isolating water to the house ?

Any help appreciated

Simon

unfortunately not, thought i'd rip it out while i had a skip for the kitchen and gone back to it after getting the room plastered and finishing the kitchen 2 months later. I'd assumed (idiot) it would be a standard fitting

A Kurerlite k701 20 x 15mm would probably have done, but no good without the nut.

I'll have a look in the garage later.

Have you tried a 3/4 tap connector on it.

It's a special thread/size.

Have you got a pitch gauge.

The size is as near as damn it 1/2" but the thread will be different.

If you can post the TPI we should be getting somewhere.
