Stupid car.

Fuel economy gone from 55mpg on the motorway to 40 and it's stuttering in first/second gear at low revs.

Signs are on the cards for EGR valve.

Anyone done one before (waits for BTCC to magically appear....) :lol:

i am here at last.hows it going.have done one on a 2.0l hdi.
a bit of a job but do on the 2.0l its around the back of the engine just about visible.held on by horrible torqs screws.
have you had the car read on diagnostics as the anti pollution system on the exhaust(if yours has it) can cause this ive heard.had nothing to do with this myself though.

Hiya chief :) It's like magic...speak his name and he shall appear! How you doing? I'm good ta!

I've not had chance to take it anywhere yet to get diags read yet.....hope to get time later next week. Exhaust is sounding a little louder than it did.......good idea! Poor thing has done many miles and not much love.

Out for next couple of days, but will give you a shout if I get chance to look at it if you are aorund :)
