Hi

Just a quicky, is there such a thing as an 90 deg elbow but also a T, ie 3 way. If so what's its correct name?

Thanks, Chris.

It's called a "T" you can buy equal T's..where the pipes are all equal... or reducing T's where they are not..

Here's one I made earlier...

Thanks for getting back so quick, I need a tee I know, but I also want it to fit tight into a corner, so it's an 90 deg elbow as well as a tee. I could put an elbow & a tee side by side, but I want a pipe to run around the corner but also one to run up, tight in the corner of the room. Its central heating, a very old house, I'm trying to re route some pipes to avoid a huge unsightly boxing in.

Are you asking for a "T" were all three outlets are at 90 degrees to each other?

I think so yes, an elbow with another spur coming out of the top, in 15mm.

No i'm guessing couchie want's to run a horizontal pipe on one wall, then carry it on horizontal on another wall, but right in the corner of the room as it turns he also wants to 'T' off and run a pipe up the wall right in the corner????? is that right??

a 3 way elbow??

The OP wants a corner tee.

What size and material.

You mention 15mm so if I assume copper, then a Yorkshire YP36 in 15mm or 22mm.

Thanks Scruff, I can honestly say I don't think I've even seen a copper on before, didn't know they did them but then again at that price I'm not surprised I've never seen one

Spot on guys, thats just what I'm after. So it's a corner tee, I'll have a look on line this eve to see if I can find a couple, not to worried what material, copper would be nice, but as long as it's ok for heating it'a good.

Thanks all, Chris.

The picture i've posted is not suitable, I just posted it as an example of the shape of fitting you were after. Where as the fitting scruff mentions is suitable. But the are pricey at over £20 a fitting.

I'm unsure why you need to get it so close to the corner, you can still get it nice and tight with normal fittings. What's more you say it's for the heating so I assume you need to bring 2 pipes up in the corner (flow & Return) if that's the case you would only be abe to bring 1 of the pipes up with that fitting

To be fair it isn't a fitting I have ever used, maybe, along the wall, up the wall, and through the wall they could be good.

Thanks for the advice. I thought it might be a simple of the shelf fitting, at that price I'll get as close as I can with standard fittings. Your right in what you say, there are two so only one would tuck in tight anyway.
