Hi,
I am in the process of refurbishing my bathroom and I have to consider what isolating valves to get.
1. Can I get full bore isolator valve combined with strainer? (for low gravity water to shower). I see them in scroofix and toolstation but they do not mention full bore so I assume they are not. I need to know if they exist and in that case I can look elsewhere. I guess my other option is to use a separate valve and Y in line filter.
2. Connecting a mixer tap to the pipe outlets (under the handbasin). Mixer tap from memory has 10mm fittings ... then (I guess) flexible pipe from the tap to the 15 mm inlet pipe. Would it be possible to get a full bore valve with 15mm compression on one end and whatever connector is needed to connect the flexible pipe on the other? What I mean is the isolating valve to act as both a valve and connector for the flexible pipe. (I don't want the flexible pipes which have a built in valve).
TIA Charles

Chas mate; 1) Toolstation do iso valves with filters. 2) Ensure you get low pressure taps if you have a low pressure system? HTH
