This alarm is purely for fun and has little use as a serious alarm, although if you recorded a Dog barking or a Police siren it would probably work!

These can be great fun and it is extremely easy to make, requiring only a tape recorder some string and a piece of plastic!

Start by recording a message onto your tape recorder that you wish to be played when a intruder trips the alarm. This could be a dog barking or Police siren or a song or a scream, anything at all can be played!

Record your required sound onto your tape recorder.

Open the battery compartment and slide a piece of plastic between two of the batteries.

Press play on the recorder.

Fasten the trip wire to the piece of plastic.

When the wire is tripped the plastic is removed from between the batteries and the circuit is made, playing the recorded sound.
